Continuous Cold Sr Superradiance

Led the team to build and debug the continuously cold atom superradiance machine, achieving stable red magneto-optical trap (MOT) for strontium in steady-state operation. Clock transition: ¹S₀–³P₀ (1.3 mHz natural linewidth).

Constructed and troubleshot the machine. Designed experiments for cooling and pumping atoms into correct states. Characterized atom number and velocity in cavity to fulfill superradiance conditions.

Developed 2D-grating MOT of Rb. Designed and manufactured atom chip for Rb interferometry. Simulated magnetic field and heat distribution of the chips.
